The BalboaFamilyRollers@facebook set up with something a lil boom loud and play tunes in the plaza out front the Air and Space museam in Balboa park every Wednesday. The [JMK] folks have been putting on this nice weekly meetup at the boardwalk where Pour Boy Coffee sets up now and again. Where there is boombox, rollerskaters also seem to flock. joiskwan@instagram has been holding space for the San Diego chapter of the global group DockSession since before the dark times of Covid. Sometimes Liberty Station ice rink, sometimes south of Belmont, sometimes at the convention center, this group always features a posi group of locals to show off new tricks and learn from each other.
